This is a panoramic view covering much of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, a classic rock climbing area and tourist destination outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. I worked with Alex Honnold to design this as a gift for our mutual mother-in-law and father-in-law. 50% of profits from these will go to the Honnold Foundation.

Covering the entire Conservation Area in one image would be impossible, this image includes the “core” of the summits and rock climbs on the scenic drive.

What’s Labeled

Rock climbs: Alex Honnold chose 16 high-quality Red Rock climbs to feature on this piece, mostly classic moderate routes like Solar Slab (rated 5.6) and Crimson Chrysalis (5.8+) but ranging up to the Original Route on Rainbow Wall (5.12). Many of these were part of his HURT (Honnold’s Ultimate Red Rock Traverse) which started past the right edge of this frame and continued across all the major summits and past the left edge of the frame.

Summits: I’ve labeled 14 peaks that any Red Rock Canyon fan will want to know.

Print Types

This print comes in 3 form factors:

• Poster print: most economical, unmounted print. Mounting hardware not included.

• Photo print: similar to a poster print, but a slightly higher-quality print with better longevity. Generally arrives flat rather than rolled. Mounting hardware not included.

• Float mount: This print comes with hardware that “floats” it about an inch away from the wall. From most angles, the mounting hardware is invisible - this makes a really nice minimalist display. A few minutes of assembly are required.
